We are delighted to invite entries to the High Cross College Creative Writing Competition 2024

6th Class pupils are welcome to enter in one of three categories:

(One entry only per student please)

1. A six-word short story – 6 words maximum
2. A piece of descriptive writing – 1 A4-page maximum
3. A poem – 20 lines maximum

The theme for this year’s competition is: ‘A Fond Memory’

Please send your entries to arrive by 3pm on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 as an e-mail attachment Word Doc) to rdaly@highcrosscollege.ie

Entries must include the 6th class pupil’s full name, name of teacher, and contact details for school.

The winners in each category will be announced at High Cross College Open Evening on Thursday 10th October 2024.
